Position overview As the Application Manager Composites, you’ll play a pivotal role in mastering composite production processes, optimizing material performance, and driving innovative solutions. Your expertise will directly influence product development, customer satisfaction, and successful transition to mass production. Responsibilities Knowledge of composites production processes, critical parameters, and machinery. Understanding of composite components and their interaction on material performance. Good understanding of composite design and its impact on performance. Collaborate with formulation experts and technical service to develop composite market solutions. Perform experiments to modify resins and formulations to meet customer requirements. Lead composite application projects and be actively involved in development. Ensure successful transfer of new product recipes and processes to mass production. Maintain a safe and regulatory compliant laboratory work environment with proper use of PPE. Required skills and experience Knowledge in the field of composite materials. 5-10 experience in academic work related to composite production processes. Collaboration and team working. Good analytical and problem solving skills. Results oriented personality. Very good communication skills. Fluent in English and German (writing and speaking). Experience with AI mediated developments is a plus.
