Within the Geel logistics and warehouse team, we are recruiting a Customs Expert (M/F/X) as a crucial member of our warehouse IN and OUT team. Geel - Belgium site is the largest chemical production site for small molecule API (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients) within the Johnson & Johnson supply chain. We ensure lifesaving medicines reach the patient, safely, optimality, competitively, always. Besides production of API's, the site has an important launch & grow mission for new pharmaceutical products. You will ensure a timely and correct monthly and quarterly reporting to Belgian Customs. You will be working very close together with the warehouse operations team and on-site production plants to keep track of our inventory and bonded warehouse. We are looking for a dynamic person who has eye for detail and possesses superior administrative skills. What impact you will also have: * Day to day processing of customs administration by preparing import and excise declarations for the Geel site. * Coordinate inbound deliveries and communicate with operations on priorities. Which includes daily communicate with (internal) customers, freight forwarders, transportation companies, Customs Authorities. * Maintain accurate administrative records of our Duty Inward Processing Relief processes, ensuring compliance with Belgian Customs requirements. Accountable for accurate and correct monthly and quarterly filing of our IPR movements to Belgian Customs. * Act as team member incustoms related projects impacting the Geel site and Support and back up your colleagues in the team. * Continuously question processes and optimize where possible. You embrace the question 'Why?' We would love to hear from you, if you have the following essential requirements: * Bachelor's degree required * Experience in logistics, preferably in a large international organization; * Experience in EU customs regulations and reporting and Knowledgeable of standard customs software applications: Descartes, Stream; * Proficient in Dutch and English language, both spoken and written; * Experienced standard Microsoft applications user; * Enhanced analytical and data management skills; What type of mark will YOU make?
