We have an opportunity for a Site Finance Analyst who supports the Head of Finance at the Verviers site. Key responsibilities: * Support the site and Business Unit in reaching short-and long-term goals by providing insightful financial analysis * Monitor, analyze and report financial performance and support in identifying/reviewing potential counter measures * Support or lead in coordinating and presenting financial results to various Business Partners (Financial Council) * Support in business cases, ad hoc analysis * Support/lead monthly closing activities * Support annual budgeting process and long term strategic planning with plant leadership * A point of contact towards Corporate, GBSO and external auditors in accounting, internal controls and audit questions for the area of responsibility * Fulfill governmental reporting requirements * Ensure compliance with all Group policies, especially MAM, FAM * Ensure the balance sheet is correct (classification, correction, cleaning, control some processes with GBSO, mitigate some risk accounts) * Capex : Follow the compliance * ICS : Ensure Internal controls and review * Ensure Structure in Sap : Analytical accounting * Perform other duties as assigned Key requirements: * Bachelors or Masters in in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting or similar * 1-2 years of prior experience in financial analysis/ reporting * Strong Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and SAP skills * Fluent in French and English * Solid analytical skills and ability to manage communication with range of stakeholders * Proactive in search for best practice processes and ability to prioritize Every day, Lonza’s products and services have a positive impact on millions of people.
