WHAT WILL YOU DO? DEVOPS TASKS Establish and maintain CI/CD Pipeline to ensure continuous delivery of software; Manage and monitor environments ensuring their stability and performance; Leading and guiding the team in adopting new cloud technologies, helping them stay current; Automate the installation and configuration of infrastructure such as Linux OS, AWS/GCP Services, Hadoop distribution, and NGDATA's IEP product; Managing third-party software integration, ensuring compatibility and functionality; Automate the P&E infrastructure monitoring and optimize resource usage to ensure it meets the team's needs; Managing and optimizing cloud environment costs; Conducting tests and experiments to fine-tune solutions, contributing to the overall improvement of NGDATA's products; Support release activities, understanding the impact of branching and code merges, facilitating the execution and publication of releases and serving as a point of contact regarding the status; Resolving issues relating to infrastructure and environment, supporting QA and development teams in troubleshooting. Providing technical support as required, assisting colleagues and team members with their technical queries. WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR? HARD SKILLS You are fluent in English, both written and spoken, and have good communication skills. You possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and min. 3 years of experience in DevOps practices, demonstrating your skills in streamlining development and operations workflows. Experience with CI/CD pipeline automation (Atlassian Bamboo or other). Proven experience with Bash and Python development (other languages considered a plus). Experience with configuration management with Terraform. Familiarity with Kubernetes. Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies. In-depth knowledge of cloud environments, primarily AWS and GCP. Strong infrastructure knowledge, able to maintain complex infrastructure components effectively. A deep understanding of industry standards and trends. Proactive and self-sufficient; you actively look for information or ask for help when needed and take initiatives to work out solutions. Logical deduction skills; you have good conceptual ability and talent for precise analysis which helps you come to informed decisions. You are open to new ideas and can handle changes in a fast-paced environment easily. Open-minded and positive; you can work within a diverse team, positively influencing the team spirit and working together in a collaborative manner.
