Job Title: Music Director Location: SHAPE International Chapel , Belgium Duties : Recurring Services: The candidate shall play piano, keyboard, or guitar during the Sunday worship services as scheduled by the Senior Chaplain of the JFC Chapel. The candidate shall provide accompaniment for the worship team or choir rehearsals. The candidate shall provide songs, hymn, and music in coordination of the Chaplain of the Congregation for the Sunday worship services and the worship team or Choir rehearsals. On-Demand Services: The candidate shall play piano, keyboard, or guitar during on-demand special services. The candidate shall provide accompaniment for the worship team or choir rehearsals for on-demand special services. The candidate shall provide selection of songs, hymns, and music for the on-demand special services and the worship team or Choir rehearsals. Contractor Manpower Reporting: All information provided by the candidate shall be accurate, complete, and not exceed suspense dates noted for the period of performance during each Government FY. Additional Tasks: The candidate must accomplish the following implied tasks and activities to effectively provide worship leadership. Notify the Chaplain of the Congregation concerning any maintenance needs or requests concerning the musical and IT instrument(s) of the chapel facility. Submit invoice(s) for the previous month’s contact services to the Chaplain of the Congregation for the verification and further process No Later Than the 6th working day of the next month. Education & Qualifications: Demonstrated ability to proficiently play piano and keyboard and/or guitar. Demonstrated ability to proficiently play all selections in the Armed Forces Hymnal and other hymnals and/or songbooks designated by the Chaplain of the congregation. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in English for coordination with the Chaplain of the Congregation. Powered by JazzHR
